2021年正月。アライブ界ではレイドやトナメによるブーストコイン枯渇問題が蔓延する中、リアルではコロナウイルスが猛威を奮っていた。トリケラ博士はこの後も登場させる予定だったが、アライブネタオンリーで描くか時事ネタを絡めるか迷った挙句、Ludiaが想定外のスピードでネタを提供してくれるため、漫画はアライブネタオンリーに。トリケラ博士は今日もどこかでニュース解説をしていると思われる。
尚、2021年8月現在、人類は幸い絶滅していないが、アライブユーザは度重なるアプデにより徐々にその体力を奪われつつある。

In those days
New Year’s Day, 2021. While the Alive world is suffering from the depletion of boost coins from raids and tournaments, the Corona virus is raging in the real world. I had planned to have Dr. Tricera appear in the manga after this, but I couldn’t decide whether to draw only JWA stories or to include current events, and since Ludia was able to provide me with stories at an unexpectedly fast pace, I decided to make the manga only Alive stories. Dr. Tricera is presumed to be commentating on the news somewhere today.
As of August 2021, the human race is fortunately not extinct, but JWA users are slowly losing their strength due to repeated updates.
